Do the tulips and other flora of Washington inspire you? Friends and members of the La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum were issued a Challenge to use a floral theme and to be creative and experiment with a variety of fabrics, fibers, and textiles. On display will be the results of their efforts. Here is the perfect opportunity to view all the quilts or fiber art pieces that were created to benefit the Museum! Many pieces will be for sale and the proceeds will be used to fund restoration and repairs to the Mansion’s picket fence. All entries will be displayed in the Museum beginning April 1, 2014 for at least one month or until sold.

2014 La Conner in Bloom Challenge Rules: Please keep the piece at or below dimensions of 24” x 30” and add a 2” hanging sleeve when appropriate. Affix a permanent label on back of your work with the title and your name. Please include a note with your name, address, and phone number for our records. We will accept entries through April.
